I took two consecutive T/C lessons today. This time, I had Ms. Zanida specifically check how I read each passage—paying close attention to aspects like intonation and word stress. I discovered several differences between Filipino pronunciation and the pronunciation I learned through the Japanese school system for the same words; however, since both are acceptable according to the dictionary, it isn't an issue. She understands exactly what I want to convey, and I find her explanations clear and very helpful.
